So, yeah, I never did make a post about my trip, did I? You know why? Because I'm still working on making a slide show of my pictures and I wanted to make a link to in the post I made about the trip. And now it's been a month. Why does it take so long to go through pictures, clean them up and make a slide show? Don't look at me. All I know is that it takes (me) a long freakin' time. But soon, now. Soon I will finish it. Yessss.
Anyway, to anyone who is not in daily or weekly contact with me or who did not go with me on the trip: Japan is AWESOME. I didn't want to leave and I have already decided that I am going to go back someday. As soon as possible. ;) A week visit is not enough time to soak it all in. I'm not going to go into a lot of detail here since my slide show will explain more, but I felt I should make some mention about it before another few weeks go by. Hopefully my pictures will be up before then, but you never know...
Part of the reason I decided to post this now is because of today's news about the train that derailed in Japan today. Here's a link if you want to read more: Japan Rail Crash
Though I don't think I ever took a train on that particular line, it was still kind of freaky to think about. I'm sure the likelihood of being in a train crash in Japan is microscopic compared to the likelihood of being in a car wreck in America, but it's still eerie considering they don't have train wrecks that often and I was just recently there. Not that it makes my desire to go back any less...Still, I wish all the Pop Japan Travel participants for the summer tour a safe trip. Lucky bastards. I wish I was going on the Summer tour!
